The squad minnow is a jerkbait which blends perfectly all the ingredients needed to trigger a strike. The weights in this lure are fixed which allow you to stop the bait dead still during a retrieve.  This is often enough to trigger a following fish to strike. The lure can also be made to repeatedly dart on the retrieve allowing you to vary the retrieve from a dog walking action to a sudden twitching and darting movement. The fixed leads are also a great help for accurate distance casting.
